KS1 & Lower KS2

These questions are based on KS1 and lower KS2 content statements, but questions are not restricted to particular year groups. They can be used both during the teaching of a particular topic and later in your curriculum sequence. For example, you might select questions linked to recently taught content to support application of new learning. Alternatively, you might select questions based on content from prior years that pupils are already secure with, requiring them to identify the relevant mathematics. Developing confidence and expertise in problem solving may be particularly effective when using mathematical content from earlier years.
